Lets be honest, we love analog tape. Our Otari MX 80 24-track is a work horse and sounds great session after session. But, we do use Pro Tools 8 and think its pretty nifty as well. Last month we added another Digidesign 192 interface so Underwood Recording is now a 24 in and out Pro Tools HD facility. Tape transfers, backups, big tracking sessions, we’re happy to do it.

Tracked at Underwood Recording, “Songs From Lonely Avenue”, the newest from the Brian Setzer Orchestra was released today. Never in our lives have we heard a mind blowing guitar solo only to have the player turn and say, “Yeah, I can play that better…” Really? Because we don’t know anyone else on earth who could.
